Kanye West walks around Occupy Wall Street
Yup…you heard me, he literally walked around. Hip-Hop veteran Russel Simmons, and intergalactic superstar Kanye West, who just recently released an album solely based on his wealth and his Basquiat paintings, decided to walk around during Occupy Wallstreet.
This is stupid, and in my opinion a blatant example of an artist using a situation to his advantage. The guy doesn’t even speak for himself, he has Russel Simmons do all the talking (in the third person) for him!!
In other news though, both Talib Kweli and Jeff Mangum actually played music and hung out with the crowd. Definitely a lil less self indulgent.
